Grand China Buffet and Grill in Clarksburg

The prices are affordable, especially for a buffet. I really enjoy the selection of food they have here and it's always fresh. I miss coming here and I cannot wait to come back when the pandemic is over.

Delicious food, fair price. The sushi could have kept up with the customers, it wasn't a packed house, but we waited over 15 minutes for them to produce 2 rolls, and they were gone in seconds because all the customers stood at the sushi station waiting. Everything else was great!

Food and service not bad... But not happy about the constant Christian music playing.

The food and service was excellent. Me three great nephew's from Wisconsin had a great time too. Mimi was great.

They have a very wide variety of food on the buffet. It all tasted very good with the exception of the hibachi. The gentleman grabbed my plate and threw my food on for a couple of minutes and then threw it back on a plate and kind of grunted. It was still cold and I didn't feel it was safe to eat because of the undercooked meat.

It's more of a cafeteria style now instead of a buffet. Still, the food was good, and the service was excellent.

Good workers and Wonderful food!! Not high priced either!! Especially for the GREAT FOOD!! A Whole family can enjoy!!

So sorry for my previous 1- ⭐ review. It was for a different restaurant. This one was excellent. Extravagant selection, tasty and restaurant was clean.

The sushi was ok , for a China buffet, the grill was awesome! The best thing had to be the roast pork , wow ! Tender juicy, I would go back just for that.

It’s kind of hard to say. When it’s busy, the food is very good and fresh. When it’s not busy, the food is not very fresh. I have gone here lots of times, multiple times with multiple people. And I’ve had great experiences! At the same time, I have gone here with multiple people multiple times, and I’ve had bad experiences. Good news though is that they have sushi, wasabi, and seaweed salad. If that’s what you’re looking for then you’re in luck.

The place was very clean. The food was good, they had a little bit of everything, and nothing was empty. The employees were courteous, kept our glasses filled and plates cleared.

Today we had the rudest waitress and this isn’t the first time. But today when we were getting ready to go, my husband paid with a card and when he got the receipt I told him I had cash in my wallet for it. Well the waitress pushing to get her receipts and tips took our receipt and then through the tray back in front of my husband because there wasn’t a tip. I was in the process of getting her tip out of my wallet. I have and $2 after that and she then came up beside me and said something and I knew she was mad because she then took the tray and went and showed her friend how we only gave her $2. I’m sick of these waitress and waiters expecting a tip the moment the give you your bill and pushing you to pay quickly and if they don’t like what you give them they go and talk about you!

Great food, prices and staff.

The Mongolian grill is the best. Plus there's peel n eat shrimp, sometimes steamed crab legs. The ambiance is more warehouse-like then the old restaurant, which sort of ruins the experience.

Food was great. Great price. If you get the chance go!

Lots of buffet options. Typical Chinese buffet. But service was great and very friendly!!

Fantastic restaurant everything I got today was delicious honey chicken and noodles potato salad macaroni salad cinnamon rolls and pizza such a friendly staff everything is kept extremely clean I highly recommend this restaurant

Great food with a good selection. The service there is better than any place I've ever been bar none.

Good food and not too expensive. Nice and fresh.

During this visit the restaurant was not very clean. We were seated at a dirty table. We were given dirty rolled up silverware and a couple of the food selections that are supposed to be hot were cold. Usually, this restaurant has been a nice place to enjoy a meal. I hope our next visit is better or it will be our last.

Excellent food and service at a reasonable price. They had a great selection and kept stocked with a couple of exceptions. I would highly recommend this place.

It was a very clean. The women were very polite. Refills were done without asking, thats a plus. They had 10-12 tables of food, anything you could think of. We are from eastern PA and better than any of ours. Will come back in the future.

We drove from charleroi pa after seeing this place on Facebook.So much food, you can't possibly try even half of everything.Food was delicious, hot and fresh. Service was impeccable.

If you want to eat all the American Chinese food you can, this is the place! They often have crab legs and frog legs, classic dishes , some American fair like chicken tenders and pizza for the kids, also a Sushi bar and grill if you want items made to order. Its kept very clean and service is always fast, efficient and friendly. My kid loves to go here. Its a great place for big groups or families when everyone wants something different!

The restaurant moved and updated to modern decor. There is plenty of seating and open floor plan. Nice selection of food choices that are always fresh.

This place is crazy in a good way. Strange mix of southern food with Asia food. I put general tso chicken on my mashed potatoes. I poured soy sauce on my corn on the cob. I got the sweet n sour all over my clam chowder.

The variety of food and flavor is excellent. But the food didn't seem to be barely warm on the buffet.

I like new location , everything was clean , fresh and quite good , 12.99 for buffet, there was fresh oysters mussels , crab cakes,, sushi, some food for non chinese livers , and your reguler Chinese staples as well. Staff was courteous and prompt will go again

Grand China Buffet has a very good selection of veggies and fruit.They have many different ways to make chicken. The Mongolian pork is very tasty.The beef tips are pretty good too.The sushi is put together nicely and they have a good variety to choose from.They have the hibachi grill so that you can make it your way.They also have a variety of hand dipped ice cream too.I will definitely stop by again when I am in the area.I will give them a big thumbs up!

I have to give them 5 stars we eat there often. I miss the crab legs though and back when they kept them filled, but guessing they discontinued them. But they still have lots of awesome food and its fresh, I do not eat Sushi just dont like it, so could not say good bad or anything there but the bar food has been awesome. The waiters and waitresses have been awesome and kind!

It's a buffet, so nothing is amazing. But it's pretty decent.

Lot of items in the buffet... I Think they should separate seafood from meats an other food and not have it all over the place.

I’ve been there many times and have always had satisfactory visits. The food is always great and the establishment is clean but... today was the first time I’ve have a less than memorable experience. The sushi maker forgot to remove the plastic from the crab sticks before making a batch of sushi and ended up making them with the plastic. It was both disgusting and embarrassing to pull the plastic out of my mouth. I lost my appetite immediately. Such a careless mistake. But since this is one bad experience out of all the great ones, I’m leaving a ☆☆☆ rating versus the latter of one star.

Food is normally excellent, but on our last visit on Sunday it was seriously lacking, and I know it’s due to COVID and the increased requirements and less customers. They done a good job with serving the customers, but I don’t feel the 6ft guidelines for sitting tables were followed. It was the second day of being open again and I expected flaws, we will be back again as they have always had good food and service.

It was very good, they did an ok job with keeping the buffet stocked.

I really didn't like most of the food, it wasn't hot and tasted like it been there awhile. But the staff was Super nice. Also the place was very clean, however they weren't enforcing the mask policy. Bottom line is, it was my first time there and I probably won't be going back. Sorry.
